The South Devon Coast is part of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and there are many spectacular places to visit within easy reach of our properties.
Teignmouth is a pretty Regency seaside resort where the mouth of the River Teign cuts a gap between the coastal cliffs. It boasts one of only two surviving Victorian piers in Devon (the other is at Paignton).

Nearby Dartmoor offers miles of unspoiled footpaths, rivers and streams, quaint moorland villages and welcoming inns. Try a swim in the River Dart at Spitchwick - but bring your wetsuit; moorland rivers are always cold!
